About PlatMat and the conference

We invite you to the 2nd PlatMat Conference: Innovations and experiences of teacher and visual impairment students support in mathematical education, presenting the latest solutions incorporated into PlatMat tools, and the experience of teachers and students in pursuing mathematical activities supported by PlatMat.

The PlatMat platform is the result of two research projects funded by the PFRON, consisting of five innovative IT tools (Windows applications) and a PlatMat portal supporting math teachers and blind and visually impaired students. PlatMat tools streamline the creation and editing of interactive, interactive math content by teacher and student, exchange between teacher and learner, and monitor student work in class and/or via the Internet. The PlatMat Portal provides tools and licenses and an database of math OER created and made available by teachers available to visually impaired students.
